Monthly Supporters / Sponsor Visits
Members of the Herd and Resident Sponsors have the opportunity to visit the sanctuary annually based on membership tier. To schedule your private visit when eligible, email us at info@uncleneilshome.org.
Yes! All visits must be during one of our tours, fundraisers, or events. Out of respect to UNH’s residents, we do not accept unscheduled visitors. You will be turned away.
We do not charge admission to visit, however, we suggest a donation be given for the time given by UNH staff and to help us continue to care for our residents.
You will be guided through the sanctuary and introduced to each resident as we share their stories about how and why they came to call UNH their home. We will also educate you on the realities of modern animal agriculture and how you can make a difference.
Many of our animals are on special diets and eating something outside of that diet could be fatal. Therefore, please do not feed any food to the animals at the sanctuary. Some animals may receive snacks provided by UNH staff. If you’d like to bring snacks, they must be approved by UNH staff prior to your visit.
General tours are appropriate for children, so long as they are accompanied by an adult. Children will be able to meet all their favorite residents. While there are no graphic pictures at the sanctuary, please understand that we will be discussing the nature of how and why each resident came to call UNH their home.
Registered Service Animals are allowed at UNH with proper documentation and must be kept on a leash at all times. All Non-Registered animals are not allowed.
